About Lisa Anne

FAIRTRADE

Our designer Lisa Anne Dickenson (the “La” in La Jewellery) lived and worked in Wales for 15 years and still has a small design studio there.

Now based in Ludlow, Shropshire on the edge of the Welsh Marches she believes wholeheartedly in the magic of the Marches landscape, seeking and finding endless inspiration in her surroundings.

Her work manages to be beautiful, highly collectable and affordable and is available exclusively through La Jewellery and our authorised retailer partners.

All our jewellery is created to Lisa Anne’s designs and she oversights our production from end-to-end.

Environmental issues often feature in the content of Lisa Anne’s work and that is carried over to the materials and methods we use to create all her collections.

Our metals and materials are often recycled or obtained from fair trade or ethical suppliers who have a proven regard for the environment.

Pieces are accented by fresh-water pearls, semi-precious stones and glittering Swarovski crystals in beautiful shapes and colours.

As far as possible we purchase our materials and packaging from local sources to leave a ‘lighter environmental footprint’ on this incredible landscape by using recycled packaging and card wherever possible.

Lisa Anne’s collections are thus of and created out of materials from the environment that inspires them—but in a manner which seeks to enable future generations to continue to enjoy its natural beauty.

How it works – the La Jewellery making process…

All La Jewellery is made in the UK to designs originated and a process approved by Lisa Anne Dickenson (the LA in La Jewellery).

Lisa Anne oversees the production process from end-to-end and is usually responsible for the original piece we produce. Once the original item is approved Lisa Anne and a small team of highly skilled jewellery assemblers will make the jewellery.

Jewellery assemblers frequently work from home in a way that supports their work-life balance. Many have been associated with the company for years and they work very much as a team.

Once individual jewellery items are made they come back into our production unit where they are checked and rechecked to see they reach Lisa Anne’s exacting standard before being placed on our stock lists.
