In heraldry the stylised cross in the shape of an anchor can be used to signify 'fresh start' or 'hope.'

Every piece of jewellery that is purchased from this collection will go towards helping to provide hope and the opportunity for a fresh start for women and children affected by domestic abuse.

No one should live with domestic abuse. Women's Aid Monmouthshire Ltd. (WAIMON) is the leading domestic abuse agency in Monmouthshire. The charity offers emotional and practical support and information to women and children who are being, or have been, affected by domestic abuse. WAIMON seeks to challenge domestic abuse, in all of its forms, by offering support, information and by raising awareness in the community through education, training, publicity and liaising with other agencies.

The service is offered 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and is available to any woman or child who requests it, regardless of background or circumstances.
